I was a public school teacher for exactly 1 year (8th and 9th grade science). it was the most miserable year of my life. I loved the kids, i tried so hard. i cried every night. Everyone says that the first year is the worst, but i just wasn't a strong enough person to go back and try again. So my point (i think) is that you are a very strong person and you are doing a wonderful thing by being a teacher. keep up the good work!Dhariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15711428490520167896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7464421.post-1133532529164685692005-12-02T09:08:00.000-05:002005-12-02T09:08:00.000-05:00Sorry work is so crappy for you right now, that is...Sorry work is so crappy for you right now, that is so frustrating. I think knitting and cookies will make you feel better! :)Heidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06847584061949133228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7464421.post-1133384266845890882005-11-30T15:57:00.000-05:002005-11-30T15:57:00.000-05:00I know from dealing with the teenagers at my fire ...I know from dealing with the teenagers at my fire hall that there is only so much that you can do. They have to want to learn. Plus the parents don't help you out with their attitudes.Miahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08640308257305494076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7464421.post-1133383381572398412005-11-30T15:43:00.000-05:002005-11-30T15:43:00.000-05:00I just wanted to let you know that you have one of...I just wanted to let you know that you have one of the hardest jobs out there but also one of the most important. I think back to all the teachers I had over the years and the ones that stand out are the ones that really cared. It sounds like you are one of those who do care. It is too bad that kids are just so horrible and I truely believe they haven't gotten snotter over the years. I was a brat at times growing up and I would have never had sad or done any of the things I've seen kids do now days but it seems that they can get away with it. Keep your chin up! Remember the good days.Rebecca Mongrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09049111333418739211noreply@blogger.com
