This story strikes close to home because it happened in CT and happened to a dachshund :(

I'm a dog person. Love dogs. All breeds, even though there are some I would not keep as a pet, that's my own opinion. It's so sad when something like this happens.

So sad. The dachsund's owner must be devastated. Can't imagine it. Going to go hug my cat now.
something similar happened in a dog park ehre in omaha. a woman had taken her puppy yorkie (which probably weighed 1#) to t he dog park, and some woman wasn't watching her yellow lab, and it grabbed the yorkie, shook it, and killed the poor little thing (it was only 9 months old!). the worst part? and the police aren't going to do a thing about it.
This happened to a sweet little dog at http://aliceanjo.blogspot.com/ also, but he lived. If you visit the blog, go back to April 8 and read forward. It was very sad, but he's doing better.
