I love this news article about "The Lorax" being popular again. It has long been a favorite book of mine and it is also now a pet name for Lorelai - she's "The Lorax". She'll probably hate that nickname years from now, but it has stuck (more than anything else - we like Lori and Rory as nicknames, but they sound strange when used in reference to her)
Speak for the trees for the trees have no tongues!

Aww! I love that book too!
I once knew a guy- when we were teenagers- that knew that whole story by heart. Every once in awhile he'd break out and say part or all of the book.
(Wonder what ever happened to him... He was such a nice guy. Of course, how can you be a jerk and know that book by heart?)
